We are thankful for the blessing of living in a country that was founded on God's principles documented in the Torah and the Bible. Establishing our freedom from the tyranny of Great Britain cost the treasure, reputations and lives of our founding fathers and many others.

• As Americans we have an independent mindset.
• As Christians we realize that we are willing bond-servants of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Living in these days of great deception, it is important that we remain good and diligent students of God's Word as we pray for our nation, our government, our neighbors, our family and the soon return of Jesus our Lord. As Paul wrote to in 1 Timothy 2: 1 - 6 (NKJV)

"Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time,"
