• Lead Pastor - Jeff Quigley +

    Pastor-Jeff 200

Pastor Jeff has been the Lead Pastor of Glad Tidings Church since October of 2008. Growing up just north of Philadelphia, PA, he gave his heart to the Lord in 1981. Shortly thereafter he received the call to the ministry and went to Zion Bible College (now Northpoint College) to prepare. It was there he met his wife Cindy.

Jeff has been ordained with the International Fellowship of Christian Assemblies and also with the Assemblies of God. He loves pastoring, especially when someone commits their life to Jesus Christ as Savior.

Jeff loves home improvement projects and tinkering in his garage. He enjoys fantasy football, clean suspenseful sci-fi shows (and yes, some might consider him a mild trekkie!). Jeff is an avid Chocolate Lab owner and loves spending time with his wife and best friend, Cindy. Cindy and Jeff have three grown, married children, and two young grandchildren.

Following a vision God gave him for a church made of 21st century missionaries, he and the leadership team make it their aim to develop and equip every follower of Christ at Glad Tidings for their role of confidently being God's People where they live, work, play and worship.

  • Children’s Church Director - Charlene Graham +

photo coming soon Charlene Graham is Glad Tiding's Kid's Zone Children's Church leader. She was born and raised in Rochester, NY. She came to Glad Tidings in 2004 and frequently makes appearances as the clown version of herself (Bananas) during Children's Church.

Charlene teaches God's Word and ministers to the kids by the power of the Holy Spirit every Sunday morning. She loves God and she loves kids, so this ministry is just perfect for her!

Charlene's favorite thing to do is clown around. She earned a certificate in clown classes, and performed in a clown worship service for multiple years, making crazy memories with her clown girlfriends. As a matter of fact, she gave her heart to Jesus while in her clown custome over 30 years ago! Along with being a great clown, Charlene also loves the Food Network, listen to worship music, and enjoy coffee ice cream. Yum!

  • Nursery Ministry Coordinator - Joyce Porzi +

JoycePorzi Joyce is the Nursery Ministry Leader at Glad Tidings. Born in Long Island, raised in Kings Park, Joyce attended SUNY Farmingdale and Geneseo, where she earned a B.A and M.A in Speech-Language Pathology. She spent a summer serving as a missionary in Eastern Europe before the Berlin Wall had fallen, and a summer traveling across the U.S with some college girlfriends, but now invests her life here in Rochester with her family.

Joyce loves working in the Nursery Ministry because she believes God moves people at different times for different reasons, matching their gifts to the needs of the body. She enjoys fulfilling her part in the larger picture of what God is doing, by coordinating nursery care and ministering to young children while indirectly ministering to their parents. Joyce strives to ensure Glad Tidings' nursery is a place where young children can be exposed to the love of Jesus through examples of kindness in word and deed, where simple prayer is modeled and encouraged, and where parents can expect their children to be tended to in safe, developmentally appropriate ways.

Joyce's long lost, secret talent is dancing, as she took lessons for several years as a child and auditioned for a role on Broadway at age seven. Now, in place of that, she enjoys reading, traveling, and believe it or not, cleaning. (We think Joyce and Cindy Quigley ought to work out a deal!)

  • Worship & Creative Arts Ministry Director - Crystal Cutting +

photo coming soon 200 Crystal Cutting is the Worship Ministry Leader at Glad Tidings Church and has been blessing the church with her voice and piano abilities since 2004. She was born in Denver, CO, but because her parents were missionaries, she grew up there, in Indiana, Taipei, Taiwan, Cebu, and the Philippines. She college hopped as well, but is now at Roberts Wesleyan College finishing up her Music Performance degree, as her husband, five kids, and two dogs cheer her on.

Worship has always been a passion of Crystal's and she loves seeing God move in and through people through music. She loves getting in God's presence and sharing her passion with her husband, Doug, who plays on the worship team every Sunday as well. Crystal's responsibilities as Worship Leader include coordinating the Worship Team, the Special Seasonal Choir, and occasional Special Music. She's has been a Christian for as long as she can remember and holds onto the promise of Psalm 139 to keep her close to her Abba Father.

Crystal doesn't have time for hobbies, but loves to learn about history when she can. She finds it amazing that there have been many generations of people before us, but that God still wants to use US. She also loves hiking trails, being on/at/under water, reading good books, watching movies, and listening to good music. She has a very goofy side that hits when she's exhausted or just needs to blow off steam, but butter pecan ice cream usually helps fix everything.
